The editor
LightCraft is made by the ArtCraft team and contributors and published at github.com/storytold/lightcraft. It is dual-licensed under the MIT License or the Apache License 2.0, at your option. Copyright © 2026 ArtCraft Team and the LightCraft contributors. Required notices are in its NOTICE file.
This site serves the official web build from each GitHub release without modification. The current build is v0.6.0; its zip matched the release’s published SHA-256 checksum (f20bfc75fbbfd204ed81e32d73e967212bff6cb30cbe8532b7b0e4fed581a2f6). The license texts ship with it: LICENSE-MIT, LICENSE-APACHE. Its bundled fonts are under the SIL Open Font License; the license texts are served next to the app (for example Noto Sans CJK SC).
Every file of the app is served byte for byte as released. The app module (25.8 MB, right at our host’s per-file limit) is stored on Cloudflare R2 and served from the same address, with the same bytes. We leave out three kinds of files from the release zip that the app doesn’t load: sample server configuration (_headers, .htaccess), optional precompressed .br and .gz copies (our host compresses on the fly), and Rust build leftovers (build/, deps/ and similar) that the 0.6.0 zip includes by mistake.

Screenshots
Product screenshots are from the LightCraft repository (MIT OR Apache-2.0), produced by the project’s own showcase scripts and resized for this site. The photographs in them are in the public domain: Ansel Adams, The Tetons and the Snake River (1942, U.S. National Archives); Dorothea Lange, Migrant Mother (1936, Library of Congress); Bill Anders / NASA, Earthrise (1968); NASA, The Blue Marble (1972). The other photos are LightCraft’s procedurally generated demo library.
