Don’t want to install anything? Run LightCraft in your browser. It is the same app, compiled to WebAssembly. Choose the desktop app for a large library on your own disk, GPU rendering, Lightroom catalog import, XMP sidecars and agent control over MCP.

Windows

Installers and executables are code-signed. The portable zip runs without installing. The installer also puts the command-line tool, lightcraft-cli.exe, in the install folder.

Linux

The AppImage runs on most distributions and can update itself with AppImageUpdate. Install the Flatpak with flatpak install --user and the file name. The .deb and .rpm packages also install lightcraft-cli.

Verify your download

Each release publishes a SHA256SUMS.txt file. Compare it with the checksum of your file, for example shasum -a 256 lightcraft-0.6.0-macos-universal.dmg on macOS or Get-FileHash in PowerShell.

LightCraft is written in Rust and dual-licensed under MIT or Apache-2.0. Official releases also bundle the Chinese and Japanese fonts from craft-fonts; see the repository for build requirements.
